Suspect Turns Himself in to Police
April 2, 2018 – Peter Viet Le, age 24, has been taken into custody after turning himself into authorities. Viet Le is being charged with attempted second degree murder for his alleged involvement in the bowling alley shooting that occurred at 11 p.m. on March 22 at 9225 Kimmer Drive. Viet Le’s bond has been set at $200,000.

Police Department Seeks Public’s Help in Locating Suspect
The Lone Tree Police Department has identified a suspect in the shooting that occurred on Thursday, March 22 at a bowling alley located at 9255 Kimmer Drive in Lone Tree.
An arrest warrant has been issued for Peter Viet Le for his involvement in the shooting. He is described as an Asian male, 5’9” tall, weighing between 150-170 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
The Lone Tree Police Department seeks the public’s help in locating him. Anyone with information about the shooting or the suspect Peter Viet Le is urged to call the Lone Tree Police Department at 303-339-8150.
The shooting victim is in stable condition and is recovering.
Update (5:00pm, March 23):
On March 22, 2018, at approximately 11pm, the Lone Tree Police Department responded to a shooting at the bowling alley off of Kimmer Drive. One victim sustained injuries from the shooting and was transported to the hospital where he is being treated and is recovering from his injuries. The shooting took place following an interaction between the victim and suspect inside the bowling alley just before closing time. The suspect may have fled the scene in a dark colored SUV and is described as an Asian male, 20-25 years old, 5’6”-6’0” tall, approximately 200 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

March 23, 2018 – On Thursday, March 22 at about 11 p.m., the Lone Tree Police Department responded to reports of gunshots being fired at a Lone Tree bowling alley located at 9255 Kimmer Drive. Upon arrival, officers found a male victim in his early to mid-20s with a gunshot wound. He was transported to the hospital where his condition is unknown at this time.
According to witnesses, the suspect left the scene possibly in a black or dark-colored SUV. The suspect has been described as an Asian male in his early to mid-20s wearing all dark clothing.
At this time the Lone Tree Police Department does not believe there is an immediate threat to public safety. Anyone with information should contact the Lone Tree Police Department at 303-339-8150.
