Construction work along Rosemont and Fairview

Fairview and Rosemont Paving.JPG

This week a concrete contractor will be replacing handicap ramps as well as some curb, gutter, and sidewalks along Rosemont and Fairview. They will be in the area for at least two weeks with minimal impact to residents.

After the concrete contractor is finished, the paving crew will move in and start milling and overlaying the two streets. The map above shows the areas that will be resurfaced and restriped, and below are the dates for each road.

Rosemont: July 23 - 30

Fairview: July 29 - Aug. 2

During paving operations from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., no parking will be allowed on the impacted streets during those hours. There will be delays getting in and out of your respective subdivisions while the paver is coming across the intersection, with some delays lasting up to 20 minutes.

The City asks that motorists and homeowners please be patient and understanding during that time. If an area is coned off or appears to be closed, DO NOT attempt to drive on it. It may cause damage to your vehicle and/or the newly paved road. We apologize ahead of time for any inconvenience the resurfacing operations may cause, but we need your help and patience in order to get it done efficiently so that the impacts minimal to you and other traveling motorists.

Questions/concerns, please contact Public Works at (720) 509-1240.
